Marilyn Manley (LA3541)

I have been in the massage therapy field since 2003. Since certifying nationally and being licensed in Louisiana, I've had the pleasure to work in a variety of massage establishments including spas, salons and a chiropractor’s office. Though my early days as a massage therapist really trained me to give a relaxing massage, the need for pain management and injury recovery massage therapy became more apparent. Through continued education and experience over the years I've found my passion is to help people live more enjoyable lives by helping them get rid of the pains and aches that have been holding them back. My education background includes Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue/Trigger Point Therapy, Myoskeletal Alignment Techniques, Sports Massage, Prenatal Massage, LaStone Massage, as well as massage for Fibromyalgia. In December of 2012, I opened the doors to Tranquility Massage. Many of my clients are people who have physically and mentally exhausting jobs such as service members, law enforcement, nurses, teachers, and people who are stuck staring at a computer screen or sitting in a vehicle for hours at a time. Many of my clients have had some sort of past physical trauma or injury that has led to their chronic pain issues. I've also had the joy of working with a lot of pregnant women who were looking for a little relief from the physical changes that they're experiencing. I believe that you can't enjoy life fully when you are in constant pain (and nobody wants to live on pain meds!), and I know that massage therapy can help in most cases.

Ashleigh Torres (LA8937)

My name is Ashleigh Torres. I grew up in Hendersonville, TN and attended school for massage therapy at Mind Body Institute in Nashville, TN. I found massage shortly after leaving the military in 2015 where I sustained physical injuries that caused chronic pain, which caused me to seek massage. I fell in love with the art of massage and how beneficial it is for the mind and body. I recently moved to Leesville, LA to support my husband in his military career and look forward to seeing where our time here in Louisiana takes us. Over the past year and a half, I have worked within fitness facilities and chiropractic offices located in Clarksville, TN practicing therapeutic massage, sports massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy and pre-natal massage.

I specialize in a combination of sports massage and myofascial release. I strongly believe in the power of massage and how we can combine it with every day life to improve our overall wellness. Massage has become my happy place and I feel the best when I’m doing massage. I love what I do, and I am looking forward to learning much more about massage and the techniques I can offer to my clients. Soon I would like to add cupping therapy to my tool belt while I continue to work hard to make sure every client that receives bodywork from me walks away feeling renewed.

Raine Wingate (LA8928)

I grew up in Pitkin, Louisiana and attended school at Unitech Training Academy Alexandria Campus. I was drawn to massage out of a desire to provide a more natural alternative to pain management and relaxation. My current specialties are Swedish, deep tissue, prenatal and hot stone massages. I look forward to adding Manual Lyphatic Drainage, massage for fibromyalgia, and other pain management techniques to my education in the near future.
